Damien Duff’s league leaders welcome Stephen Kenny’s Saints in a hugely-anticipated league tie as they try to keep second-placed Derry City at bay.

Shelbourne currently enjoy a four-point lead at the summit with seven games to go.

Although the league table looks grim for the visitors, St Pat's look like they may be in the early stages of a resurgence under former Ireland manager Kenny and their recent European exploits should see them go into the Shels game with their tails up.

There is also one fixture update in the SSE Airtricity Women’s Premier Division.

Cork City v DLR Waves on Saturday, 28 September will now kick off three hours earlier than indicated, at 2pm.

Shamrock Rovers v Sligo Rovers - Friday, 13 September.

Derry City v Shelbourne - Saturday, 14 September (FAI Cup).

Derry City v Shamrock Rovers - Friday, 20 September.

Shelbourne v St. Patrick’s Athletic - Monday, 30 September.
