Liverpool goalkeeper Alisson Becker is set to return from injury against Wolves on Saturday.
The Brazil international sat out the last two matches with a hamstring problem but has returned to training and is expected to reclaim his place from Republic of Ireland international Caoimhin Kelleher.
"He trained yesterday a part of our session with the group so we are expecting him to do the whole session today, so we think he is available," said head coach Arne Slot.
"Of course, we are really happy with Alisson being back but I want to emphasise that Caoimh did really well in the two games he played for us, so (it is) another example of me having two, or I think even three, good options in goal."
Meanwhile, Slot admits Luis Diaz's goal return last season was below the standard expected of him but the Colombia winger appears to now be back on track.
Diaz had personal issues to deal with following the kidnap of his parents in his homeland last October, with his father not released for 13 days.
He managed 13 goals in the campaign but only eight of those came in the Premier League.
But he has scored five in his last four league matches this term, behind only Manchester City’s Erling Haaland in the goalscoring stakes, and in an interview with Sky Sports this week said Slot as a coach was "spectacular".
The Reds boss downplayed his involvement when asked about Diaz’s improvement.
"It’s difficult for me to judge because I wasn’t here last season," said Slot, who has become the first Liverpool manager since Tom Watson in 1896 to register six wins from his opening seven matches in all competitions.
"It’s still a small sample size we are talking about and I said before when it comes to us winning quite a lot of games until now, almost all the teams we have faced have been in the bottom half of the table.
"He scored eight league goals last season. For me he was someone who could score a goal and eight is, for his quality, not of his standard.
"Then I think he comes back to his normal situation. Maybe he was a bit unlucky last season but a player of his quality will always score a lot of goals every season.
"We train on a daily basis trying to get them as close as we can in certain situations and help in the best possible way where to position themselves and what to do in certain situations.
"But it is mainly in the last third of the pitch the quality of the player and the finishing he has and I think he always had this."
Slot appears to be blessed with an embarrassment of riches up front, where he has two players for every position and they have scored 15 of the team’s 18 goals this season.
Diaz leads the way with five, Mohamed Salah has four in all competitions, Diogo Jota three, Cody Gakpo two and Darwin Nunez one. Only new signing Federico Chiesa, who has played only 80 minutes over three games, has yet to find the net.
Keeping all the players happy is a nice problem to have and Slot does not appear to have had any issues yet.
"That’s the positive thing about playing so many games, these players will always play a lot of games," he added.
"I think they understand they can’t play every game unless it’s absolutely necessary to keep them fit and sharp and to keep them ready to perform like they do.
"As long as they accept the situation as it is, and that is what they are doing at the moment because they have good numbers and I see them smile a lot as well, then it’s a very positive thing for us."
Wolves manager Gary O'Neil has revealed his side are dealing with an outbreak of illness ahead of tomorrow evening's clash.
O’Neil’s side go into the weekend joint bottom of the table, with an identical record to Everton, and face the daunting task of trying earn their first victory against a Reds side who have won all three of their games on the road in all competitions so far.
Wolves have already been dealt a huge blow in their struggling defence after Yerson Mosquera was stretchered off with a serious knee injury in their loss to Aston Villa.
Several others missed training on Friday and are doubtful through a virus.
"There’s quite a bit of illness actually," said Wolves boss O’Neil.
"A few will need a check tomorrow on how they’re feeling – we just had a little bit of a virus going around. Quite a few missed training today so we’ll see how we are tomorrow.
"We have a few issues but looking forward to getting out there and make it as difficult as possible for Liverpool.
"Some lads will struggle for tomorrow but that’s not a definite, sometimes these things can clear up in 24 hours.
"We are hopeful that the guys with the virus will be fine and 100% available for tomorrow. But as the doctor told me, it’s hard to give a definitive answer."
Wolves have conceded 14 goals throughout their five games so far, which is the joint most in the division alongside the Toffees.
Liverpool have scored 10 and Saturday’s fixture could put more strain on Wolves’ leaky defence.
"Stats-wise we have conceded more goals than we should. Not many teams have cut us open" - Gary O'Neil
O’Neil added: "When you lose games, it becomes tougher to win them. At Villa they gave everything and we got punished but not through a lack of effort and resilience.
"Stats-wise we have conceded more goals than we should. Not many teams have cut us open.
"We have only expected to concede six or seven goals but have conceded 14. Other seasons should suggest that won’t continue.
"The last three goals we have conceded which have changed games have been deflected – we need to keep working, tighten up and change those fine margins."
Liverpool boss Slot has only lost one game since arriving at Anfield and will be looking to extend his side’s winning run to four games across all competitions.
O’Neil said: "He’s excellent. No surprise he’s started well.
"There’s no real mess to fix, he’s gone into a well-run club with a good squad and he’s a good coach so no shock it’s been a good start.
"I expect them to have a good season, but tomorrow we do everything we can to disrupt that. We managed to find a way last season and that’s what we’ll look to do tomorrow."
