The SSE Airtricity Men's Premier Division promotion/relegation play-off between Bray Wanderers and Drogheda United has been switched to Tallaght Stadium.

The teams collide in the crucial showdown on Saturday week, and were initially scheduled to play the game at Richmond Park, home of St Patrick's Athletic.

However, the fixture will now be held at Tallaght, with the FAI confirming the change of plan on Wednesday afternoon. It will remain a 2pm kick-off.

Kevin Doherty's Drogs face Derry City in Sunday's Sports Direct FAI Cup final at the Aviva Stadium.

Doherty has promised his team will be back in training Monday morning no matter what way that game goes, as they look to preserve their top-flight status for 2025.

Last Saturday goalkeeper Jimmy Corcoran proved Bray's shootout hero as the Seagulls came from 2-0 down to win their First Division play-off final against Athlone Town on penalties and set up the meeting with Drogheda.
