Luke Littler set up another showdown with Luke Humphries with victory in his second-round match at the Swiss Darts Trophy in Basel.

The 17-year-old proved too strong for home hope Bruno Stockli, powering to a 6-3 win with a 145 checkout along the way.

Humphries, who beat Littler in January's World Championship final but has lost to him six times since, progressed with a 6-2 defeat of Richard Veenstra.

World number two Michael Smith saw his chances ended as he was edged out 6-5 by Stephen Bunting, having led 4-1.

Gerwyn Price was beaten 6-4 by James Wade and Nathan Aspinall overcame Dave Chisnall 6-3.
