Thurles' seven-race card on Thursday has been abandoned due to "a dry spell of weather and a forecast of insufficient rain", according to Horse Racing Ireland.

The meeting, which had been due to get underway with the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Mares Beginners Chase at 1.35pm tomorrow, will now be pushed back by a month and has been rescheduled for Thursday, 14 November.

HRI confirmed that the closing date for fresh entries will be at 12.00pm on Thursday 7 November, with declarations to run to be in by 10am on Tuesday 12 November.
