Cork City's next two home games have been reversed due to the ongoing pitch maintenance at Turner's Cross.
The Munster Football Association rendered the venue closed last week after high usage by various teams at amateur and League of Ireland level, as well as poor weather, caused damage to the pitch.
Talks between City, the FAI and two First Division clubs have led to the successful swapping of fixtures, meaning Cork will play Longford Town and Finn Harps away from home in the coming weeks rather than the scheduled meetings on Leeside.
Games in June and July scheduled to take place in Bishopsgate and Finn Park will instead be held at Turner’s Cross.
The game in Donegal is scheduled to kick-off at 6pm on Friday week due to a lack of working floodlights at the venue. It will be changed to 7.45pm if successful remedial work can be completed in time.
In the Women’s Premier Division, Cork will meet DLR Waves at the Cross on Saturday, 28 September after their game last week was switched from Cork in Dublin with just a few days’ notice due to the ground closure.
The FAI said they will issue further information in relation to any additional Cork City fixtures affected as a result of the recent closure of Turner’s Cross at a later date, indicating more fixtures may have to be altered.
The men’s side are due to play Wexford on 6 May at home.
If that game was changed, it would mean Cork’s men’s team would play seven away matches in succession, having drawn 0-0 with UCD in the capital last Friday.
The meeting of Cork and Treaty United on 24 May would be the next game at Turner's Cross.
Tim Clancy's side lead the First Division by four points after 10 matches.
City’s female side may be able to play in their home county sooner if a suitable venue can be found.
