FAI Cup draws set to take place today

The draw for the Sports Direct FAI Cup second round will take place today at 12.30pm.

This season the first round began with non-league sides, meaning 20 League of Ireland sides enter at the second round.

They are joined by 12 non-league outfits.

St Patrick's Athletic are the holders after beating Bohemians in the final last year.

The first round draw for the women's competition will also be made today with Athlone Town looking to defend their crown. .

The draws will be streamed on the FAI's online channels.
