Football teams: Kelly and Finnerty back for Galway; Murnin named to start for Armagh

Sean Kelly and Rob Finnerty have been named in the Galway starting XV, while Andrew Murnin returns to the fray for Armagh as the pair renew acquaintances in Markievicz Park this Sunday.

Both Kelly and Finnerty missed the four-point win over Westmeath in Mullingar and had been thought doubtful for Sunday, though Pádraic Joyce has named them to start, Kelly stationed at midfield, while Finnerty is at No 13.

Damien Comer, however, is still ruled out following the hamstring injury picked up in the victory over Derry in Salthill. 2022 Footballer of the Year nominee Cillian McDaid is named at corner forward.

Murnin, a key figure in last year's one-point win for Armagh in Carrick-on-Shannon, is named at full-forward, having missed their demolition of Derry in Celtic Park.

Kieran McGeeney has made one other change, with Ciarán Higgins being handed his first start of the summer at wing-back, the experienced Stefan Campbell dropping to the bench.

Defender Connaire Mackin is serving a one-match ban after he was handed a retrospective red card for a foul on Derry's Conor Class when the sides met at Celtic Park on 2 June.

Galway: Connor Gleeson; Johnny McGrath, Sean Fitzgerald, Jack Glynn; Dylan McHugh, John Daly, Liam Silke; Paul Conroy, Sean Kelly; Matthew Tierney, John Maher, Cein Darcy; Rob Finnerty, Shane Walsh, Cillian McDaid.

Armagh: Blaine Hughes; Barry McCambridge, Aaron McKay, Peter McGrane; Ciarán Higgins, Tiernan Kelly, Aidan Forker; Niall Grimley, Ben Crealey; Joe McElroy, Rian O'Neill, Oisín Conaty; Rory Grugan, Andrew Murnin, Conor Turbitt.

Eoin McEvoy is back in the Derry team as they seek to salvage their season in their final Group 1 game against Westmeath in Páirc Esler on Saturday.

The centre-back, who blasted home two goals in their league final win over Dublin in April, hasn't played since they were shocked by Donegal in the Ulster championship later that month.

McEvoy replaces Conor Doherty in the half-back line, while Ciaran McFaul, sent off in his brief cameo against Armagh, is named at wing-back.

The forward line is re-jigged, with Emmet Bradley named at centre-forward, Eunan Mulholland slotting in at 13. Niall Toner is the player to make way.

Derry: Odhrán Lynch; Conor McCluskey, Chrissy McKaigue, Diarmuid Baker; Ciarán McFaul, Eoin McEvoy, Donnacha Gilmore; Conor Glass, Brendan Rogers; Ethan Doherty, Emmet Bradley, Paul Cassidy; Eunan Mulholland, Shane McGuigan, Lachlan Murray.

Tommy Conroy named to start in the half-forward line

Tommy Conroy comes back into the Mayo starting XV for Sunday's All-Ireland SFC round 3 clash with Dublin at Dr Hyde Park.

Conroy, who impressed off the bench against Roscommon a fortnight ago, replaces Pádraig Ó'Hora.

David McBrien, an injury concern after going off during the win over the Rossies, is fit to start.

Stephen Coen captains the side.

Dublin are unchanged from the side that comprehensively defeated Cavan in the last round.

Mayo: Colm Reape; Jack Coyne, David McBrien; Donnacha McHugh; Sam Callinan, Stephen Coen (capt), Eoghan McLaughlin; Jack Carney, Matthew Ruane; Tommy Conroy, Darren McHale, Jordan Flynn; Aidan O'Shea, Cillian O'Connor, Ryan O'Donoghue.

Dublin: Stephen Cluxton; Eoin Murchan, Michael Fitzsimons, Daire Newcombe; Brian Howard, John Small, Seán Bugler; Brian Fenton, Killian McGinnis; Niall Scully, Cormac Costello, Ciarán Kilkenny; Paddy Small, Con O'Callaghan, Paul Mannion.

There's only change to either side for the crunch clash between Cork and Tyrone in Tullamore, with Conn Kilpatrick coming in for Joe Oguz.

Kilpatrick is re-united with Brian Kennedy in midfield, the pairing which held down the middle during Tyrone's surprise run to the All-Ireland title in 2021.

Cork, already through to the knockout phase, albeit with the placing yet to be determined, are unchanged from the side that beat Donegal in Páirc Uí Rinn a fortnight ago.

A win or draw for John Cleary's side will send them straight through to the quarter-final as table toppers.

Cork: Christopher Kelly; Kevin Flahive, Daniel O'Mahony, Maurice Shanley; Rory Maguire, Tommy Walsh, Matty Taylor; Ian Maguire; Colm O'Callaghan; Paul Walsh, Sean Powter, Brian O'Driscoll; Mark Cronin, Chris Óg Jones, Brian Hurley.

Tyrone: Niall Morgan; Michael McKernan, Padraig Hampsey, Aidan Clarke; Kieran McGeary, Mattie Donnelly, Niall Devlin; Brian Kennedy, Conn Kilpatrick; Ciarán Daly, Ruairí Canavan, Michael O'Neill; Darren McCurry, Darragh Canavan, Seanie O'Donnell.

Roscommon show four changes from the side that lost narrowly to the Green and Red for their clash with Cavan at Glennon Brothers Pearse Park. A point will be enough for Davy Burke's side to reach the preliminary quarter-final.

Ruaidhrí Fallon in defence, midfielder Ultan Harney (above) and forwards Dylan Ruane and Shane Cunnane come into the side in place of Niall Daly, Tadhg O'Rourke, Conor Hand and Ciarán Lennon, who are all named on the bench.

The injured Ben O'Carroll is not in the matchday squad.

Roscommon: Conor Carroll; Niall Higgins, Brian Stack (captain), Robbie Dolan; David Murray, Ruaidhrí Fallon, Eoin McCormack; Enda Smith, Ultan Harney; Dylan Ruane, Diarmuid Murtagh, Shane Cunnane; Daire Cregg, Conor Cox, Donie Smith.

Cavan: Gary O' Rourke; Luke Fortune, Brían O'Connell, Cian Reilly; Padraig Faulkner, Niall Carolan, Oisin Kiernan; Ciarán Brady, Ryan Donohoe; Ryan O'Neill, Cian Madden, Gerard Smith; Oisin Brady, James Smith, Cormac O'Reilly.
