Leona Maguire struggles as PGA challenge fails to catch fire

admin admin | 06-24 08:15

Leona Maguire struggled to a closing round of 76 at the Women's PGA Championship at Sahalee Golf Club.

That left the Cavan woman on four-over-par overall which should be good enough to see her finish around tied 24th after a week where her challenge for a first major title never really caught fire.

Maguire had five bogeys on the testing layout and just a solitary birdie on the par-three 17th having started the day on level par overall.
