Derry City shocked as Magpies grab two-goal victory in Gibraltar

Derry City suffered a shock 2-0 defeat to FCB Magpies in the Europa Conference League qualifying first round first leg this evening in the Europa Sports Park in Gibraltar.

Ash Taylor and Francisco Zuniga scored from set-pieces for the home side in the second half to take a big advantage to the Ryan McBride Brandywell Stadium next Thursday.

Adam O'Reilly and Daniel Kelly came close for City in the first half but a disastrous second 45 minutes also saw Brian Maher making a big late save to prevent a third.
