Rhys McClenaghan and his Ireland team-mates get their European Gymnastics Championships underway this morning in Rimini.
Double world champion McClenaghan goes in pommel horse qualifying this morning as he continues his preparation for the Olympic Games.
He won’t face double Olympic champion Max Whitlock in Italy as the Englishman is recovering from injury.
The rest of the Ireland team is made up of Adam Steele, Daniel Fox, Dominick Cunningham and Eamon Montgomery, with the women’s championships taking place next week.
