The first picture has been released of I Am: Celine Dion, a new documentary charting the French Canadian's singer’s battle with Stiff Person Syndrome.
Set to stream on Prime Video from 25 June and directed by Academy Award nominee Irene Taylor, the 102-minute film provides a "raw and honest behind-the-scenes look at the iconic superstar’s struggle with a life-altering illness".

The synopsis of the new documentary adds, "Serving as a love letter to her fans, this inspirational documentary highlights the music that has guided her life while also showcasing the resilience of the human spirit".
Stiff-person syndrome is a rare autoimmune neurological disorder. People with this condition usually experience muscle stiffness in their trunk and abdomen.
Dion stepped hiatus from her performing career, including shows in Dublin, where she won the Eurovision Song Contest in 1988, to concentrate on her health after she revealed her diagnosis in December 2022.
Dion (56) posted a statement on Instagram on Tuesday, reaffirming her resolve to not allow her disease to define who she is.
I Am: Celine Dion also aims to raise awareness of stiff-person syndrome.
