Young Irish TikTok star Jacob Robinson is to make his film debut in the new Hollywood thriller Drop, which is in production in Ireland.
US entertainment trade publication Deadline, which first reported the story, says Drop is directed by Christopher Landon (Freaky, Happy Death Day) and produced by Platinum Dunes (A Quiet Place, The Purge) and Blumhouse (Get Out, Insidious).
Also starring in Drop are Violett Beane (Death and Other Details), Meghann Fahy (The White Lotus), and Brandon Sklenar (1923).
Announcing Dubliner Jacob's casting, Deadline said he "became an overnight social media sensation in 2022 for his endearing commentary and amusing ruminations".
"His parent-run TikTok account, @keepupwithjacob, has since clocked over 2.4 million followers. Drop is his feature film debut," it added.
