The first trailer for Paddington Bear's new big-screen adventure has been released ahead of the film's arrival in Irish cinemas on Friday 8 November.
The third instalment of the series is called Paddington in Peru and brings Paddington's story to the South American country as he returns to visit his beloved Aunt Lucy, who now resides at the Home for Retired Bears.
With the Brown Family in tow, adventure ensues when a mystery plunges them into an unexpected journey through the Amazon rainforest and to the mountain peaks of Peru.
The film was shot in London, Peru, and Colombia and stars Hugh Bonneville, Emily Mortimer, who takes over the Mrs Brown role from Sally Hawkins; Antonio Banderas, Olivia Colman, Julie Walters, Madeleine Harris, Samuel Joslin, and Jim Broadbent.
Both Ben Whishaw and Imelda Staunton return as the respective voices of Paddington and Aunt Lucy.
Also joining the cast is newcomer and Spanish actress Carla Tous in the role of Gina Cabot. Rachel Zegler was previously announced for the part but was unable to carry out the role due to the actors' strike in the US.
The series' first two films - Paddington and Paddington 2 - were released in 2014 and 2017, respectively, with both receiving critical acclaim.
The Paddington films are based on the children's stories of British author Michael Bond, which were first published in 1958.
