The 76th Primetime Emmy Awards kicked off awards season early, bringing the stars of the small screen together for a night of celebration.
Honouring excellence in American television, an Emmy is considered one of the four major American awards for performing arts and entertainment alongside the Grammy, Oscar and Tony Awards.
The annual ceremony took place in the Peacock Theatre in Los Angeles and was a star-studded affair with high profile guests including Colin Farrell, Lily Gladstone, Viola Davis and more. Father-and-son-duo Eugene and Dan Levy of Schitt's Creek took on hosting duties.
Chief among them was our own Andrew Scott, who walked the red carpet as a nominee for Best Actor for his role in The Talented Mr. Ripley.
Scott channelled his debonair starring role in the Netflix show, stepping out in a striking custom chocolate brown suit by Vivienne Westwood, which featured wide contrasting black lapels, a longline double-breasted jacket and wide legged trousers.
Styled by Warren Alfie Baker, he paired this with a black ruffled shirt and debuted a new accessory: a thin moustache.
Shōgun tops the list of most nominations received with 25 nods, with FX's restaurant dramedy The Bear racking up 23, followed by Only Murders in the Building, which received 21. The glamorous stars of these hit shows made a dazzling appearance on the red carpet.
Selena Gomez stepped out in an elegant inky black gown by Ralph Lauren, complete with an embellished halter neckline. Meanwhile, Yellowjackets star Ella Purnell shone in a shimmering silver dress by Rabanne.
As for menswear, there were some bold looks on the night, including Dan Levy who wore a striking Loewe ensemble, straight off the runway at the Spanish label's London Fashion Week show earlier that day.
Loewe, headed up by Derry-born designer Jonathan Anderson, also created the eye-catching kilt worn by Baby Reindeer's Richard Gadd.
