Police are appealing for the public's help following the disappearance of a fisherman in the Waitaki River last week.
The man, who is in his late 70s, headed out to fish around midday on Monday, April 22.
Police say they were alerted at 7pm after he failed to return home.
His Isuzu four-wheel-drive and boat trailer were found at the boat ramp off Te Maiharoa Rd.
His boat was found anchored at the river mouth around 11pm.
The Fireball boat has yellow sides, a white hull, and a chrome anchor cradle.
Anyone who saw the man on or around the river between midday and 7pm have been asked to contact police.
