The Warriors will be looking to turn around their fortunes quickly after suffering two successive defeats in the NRL to leave them sitting 13th on the ladder.
The Warriors travel to Newcastle today before their match on Sunday against the Knights who sit one point behind the Kiwi side.
Warriors assistant coach Slade Griffin said the side needed to be more physical and defend better on their own try line.
“We’ve got to get back to our identity, we’ve had two games we were really disappointed with,” Griffin told 1News.
“The boys were more disappointed with their own performances so I’m looking forward to them bouncing back.”
The Warriors last game saw them stumble against bottom of the table Gold Coast Titans at home on Anzac Day, going down 27-24.
“We really needed the break, we’ve had a lot of short turnarounds.”
The Warriors recorded their second win of the season against the Knights in round four in a 20-12 win which featured tries from Jackson Ford, Chanel Harris-Tavita and Marcelo Montoya.
“Every game we've had against them lately has been a bit of a clash. It's a very hard stadium to play in and their fans get behind them so it's going to be a hostile environment.”
The Warriors welcome back Kurt Capewell and Bunty Afoa to the team. Capewell makes the starting side while Afoa returns to the interchange after three weeks out with a hamstring injury.
