Irish stars Paul Mescal and Andrew Scott were front and centre for the Gucci Cruise 2025 show, held last night in London's Tate Modern gallery.

Although based in Milan, Gucci's roots are firmly in London, as the brand's founder Guccio Gucci established the fashion house in the city, having worked as a porter in the Savoy Hotel in his early life.

The brand, led by Creative Director Sabato De Sarno, closed down the towering contemporary art gallery along the River Thames, presenting a sleek, polished and sophisticated collection with pops of bright, ehtereal colour in the gallery's Turbine Hall.

Dua Lipa, Alexa Chung, Solange Knowles and Daisy Edgar Jones were among the A-list celebrity guests, all kitted out in current designs by the brand.

Standing out among them were a few Irish faces, with Paul Mescal continuing his relationship with the fashion house by sitting in the front row. Mescal made headlines for appearing in a Gucci campaign late last year, and has often worn designs by the brand to premieres and red carpets.

Last night, he stepped out in a monochrome look styled by Felicity Kay and featuring a relaxed black shirt with a wide collar and neck tie detailing, which he left untied. He paired this with high-waisted black trousers, simple black shoes and a silver belt.

Andrew Scott, meanwhile, opted for a burgundy grandad-style jumper, which he paired with dark grey trousers.
