Barry Keoghan is set to host an event with foster care children in the UK that aims to show them pathways in the film industry and inspire them to "reach their dreams".
The Irish actor went into foster care after he lost his mother when he was a child. In total, he and his brother were placed together with thirteen foster families.
Keoghan has teamed up with Actors Studio, who provide screen acting courses, to host a one-day, invitation-only event in Pinewood Studios with children from Diverse Care Fostering.
Diverse Care Fostering, an independent fostering provider, posted about the event on Instagram, writing: "We cannot wait to take a group of our amazing children to an invitation only event with Actors Studio, based in Pinewood Studios!
"They will be spending the day with BAFTA-award winning actor Barry Keoghan. Having grown up in foster care himself, Barry has long had a goal of showing kids in care that there are opportunities and pathways for them in the film industry and is looking forward to inspiring them to reach for their dreams. Thanks to Actors Studio, this is a soon to be an enjoyed reality."

"We are looking forward to see what he does next in his so far amazing career."
